Praise the Lord!

This summer, if all logistics work out, I will be going to the Philippines to use my tech skills to better THE WHOLE WORLD (….or just a small part of it). I have no one else to thank or give credit to besides God for giving me this opportunity. In no way was it through my power, or talents that opened this door. In fact, I am the least accomplished and experienced person on my team, so it was definitely a miracle that I even got to be a part of this trip. God willing, I will still be of some value to the team.

More importantly, I pray that I will be a good witness through the effort and attitude I exhibit. . From the previous teams, I’ve learned that the work is hard and time consuming (people who went on these trips work and average of over 40 hours a week), so please  pray that I will keep my strength and patience when it gets tough. Also pray that I don’t get any weird diseases, or what not.

Hopefully, I will be able to blog about my trip with pictures and such! It is possible I won’t have time, so in that case I will just have to blog about it all at the end of the trip!

Apparently someone committed suicide off the Computer Science building stairwell. The body was found today at around 4-6 pm I think. Seems like so long ago I was posting about the poem on the CS building stairwell (see this post).
I dunno if it’s a rumor or not, but I did see police cars outside the building and a news article online…I hope it is a rumor.

I thought I was leaving SJ on the 20th.

Good thing I checked my email today, cause I don’t leave till the morning of the 21st.

Then I found out I booked a ticket to the wrong city. I would’ve ended up in Philadelphia on the 21st.
