Apparently I’ve been living under a rock.

Since when did gas get so cheap? Last time I remember, it was 4 bucks. now its like 2.50. Did we dig up some other oil reserve or something? Did we bully Iraq into giving us theirs? Did we compress a few million tons of dead animals and vegetation or something?
Since when could DVDs be copied on to the computer? And since when did it become illegal? that also makes me question, is there any way for the library to be able to tell if you’ve copied one of their DVDs or not? Not that I’ve done that. I get my dose of 24 and scrubs from…other places.
Why does my pandora radio play Something Corporate, Dashboard Confessional, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Death Cab for Cutie, Jimmy Eat World, hellogoodbye, Mogwai, playradioplay!, Secret and Whisper, the Postal Service, and Snow Patrol? Wth since when did start listening to punk and indie and electronica pop? Apparently, I don’t even know my own music tastes.
Since when did it start getting so cold? and Since when did I start weighing so much? Must be a defense mechanism against the cold or something.
and lastly, since when did my cousin receive love notes? just kidding. I already knew that a long time ago. Oh man…reading those notes was epic.
In conclusion (just for a change from the usual),
Yesterday…I mean today I feel accomplished
November 15, 2008
Today as of 3:50 something a.m. I accomplished something I’ve been wanting to ever since I got to CMU…which is watch the Dark Knight. hahah.
Of course like most goals there are many road blocks, such as the fact that I did not know the Dark Knight was playing in the dollar movie event thingy till 12:40 a.m., which is 20 minutes before the last showing. So I ended up running to the theater in the rain by myself at 12:50 a.m. in the morning. I must say though, it was well worth it. I will feel like crap in the morning, but right now, I feel good.
Also, there is what I think is a cicada in my room. I think I’ll tape my mouth shut when I sleep, just in case the statistic that the average human eats 8 spiders in their sleep every year also applies to cicadas.
the end
Sinister Lions II and Cavemanman ( I am living a few days behind the rest of the world)
November 12, 2008
Over the weekend I went to the Carnegie Art Museum. It was all just a little exciting, until I went into this one art piece. Yeah, a walk-in, explorable art piece. how wicked exciting is that?
So this was one of the rooms in the art piece.
1 Man = 1 Man…There it goes, whistling over my head. I think artists speak a different language.
Anyways, taking pictures wasn’t allowed, so that is why I took a picture. There are more pictures online that you can check out here. It is pretty cool so I recommend looking at ‘em.
Now to another “art piece”…
There was even smoke coming out of it and red lights on for the lava a few nights ago. I question whether CMU students really are as hardworking (when it comes to school work) as we’re rumored to be. I obviously am not since I’m blogging when I should be coding. On a side note, at least the lions aren’t white anymore. Although black might mean them boys set a few children on fire or something. we shall see on the news tomorrow.
oh wait, I don’t watch the news. who won the election?
In conclusion,
